About ADHD

ADHD Screen (ASRS) is a brief, clinically-informed screening questionnaire. It asks how often you have experienced a set of common experiences recently, and turns your answers into a severity band with plain-language guidance on what to do next. There are no right or wrong answers — the most useful thing you can do is answer honestly about how things have actually been.

What this screen covers

Among other things, it asks about: Trouble wrapping up the final details of a project, once the challenging parts have been done Difficulty getting things in order when you have to do a task that requires organization Problems remembering appointments or obligations Avoiding or delaying getting started on a task that requires a lot of thought Fidgeting or squirming with your hands or feet when you have to sit down for a long time

When should you consider this assessment?

If several of these experiences have been present for two weeks or more and are affecting your daily life — work, sleep, relationships — a screening assessment is a good first step to understand what you are going through.

How the assessment works

6 short questions, about 2 minutes. Each one asks how often you have experienced something recently. You can go back and change any answer before you submit, and you will see every answer on a review screen first.

What happens after?

You will get a patient-friendly report: a severity band, a breakdown of which areas weigh heaviest, key observations from your answers, and clear next steps. If it would help to talk to someone, we will suggest therapists who work with adhd.
